What Waits Below

PhoTrablogger’s Mundane Monday Challenge #72

One does not become enlightened by imagining figures of light, but by making the darkness conscious.

Better Magnetic Later than Never

The magnet is mightier then the sword.

My apologies for dropping the magnet recently in regards to my Magnetic Poetry Saturday Challenge. Let’s just say there is some on-going upheaval in my life and leave it at that for now. Below are the splendid offerings from the last Saturday challenge I posted. I hope to have the challenge back next Saturday, but we’ll have to wait and see.

So go forth O’ Poets of the Virtual Refrigerator into this world and write.

Human Scale

looking from a great distance
there is a flatness
the details smooth out

obstacles are immediate
the horizon is a theory

the real is the clamorous
erupting at the feet
where fingers can feel
the disturbed
the coarse wrinkles
in their intricate being

Magnetic Poetry Saturday Challenge: O’ Poets of the Virtual Refrigerator

Welcome to week five of the Magnetic Poetry Saturday Challenge. To learn about how to participate, check out the MPSC page.

Many moons ago, I read some poet who wrote every poet should write at least one poem which begins with “O'”. So here is mine, times being what they are.

Let me note that this use “O'” is not a prompt. The point is of MPSC is to have fun. If you use the Poet Magnetic Poetry Kit like I did, you might get a “O'” among the words offered.

Monday Oracle Magnetic Musings

When I started Magnetic Poetry Saturday Challenge, I wasn’t thinking of the magnets as being vehicles for the oracles. But somehow it has evolved into that. For the time being. Who knows what next week holds.

The thing to remember about the oracles is that you are never sure exactly what they are saying. Your interpretation may be totally off base, or it may be a walk off home run (to use the baseball metaphor, which I try to avoid).

Whatever it may say to you, the question is “does it resonate?”

Jane  Dougherty gives a wonderfully earthen trilogy “Spring Peace” to start things off. What follows is equally wonderful.

If I missed your offering, please let me know in the comments below. I am a bit scattered at the moment.

End note: the “cloud” doesn’t seem to be cooperating at the moment, so the layout of the entries is a result of that. I still hope that you do enjoy this week’s offerings.

Magnetic Poetry Saturday Challenge

The magnet is mightier then the sword.

Due to life circumstances, I am not offering my own magnetic poem this week. Everyone else is welcome to participate in the Magnetic Poetry Challenge this week, number 4. I will eventually post everyone’s work, including those that have been posted after the previous Magnet Monday Musings. Thank you all for participating and visiting.

Monday (wednesday)Magnetic Musing of the Fridge Oracle

This week the common virtual refrigerator turns oracle. The message is there to see. Can you understand what you are to know? Apparently I couldn’t, not seeing the blank hitting the fan in the way that it did. As it state in the outline of MPSC page, on occasion the roundup may occur as late as Wednesday. This is such a time.

Below are not all of the offering people have done, but it is what I have done prior to the blank and the fan. I hope to get the rest of the people who graciously participated in another post later today when I get a chance to work on them.

For the next couple of days, I am will sporadic in my appearance here (travelling, wifi access, etc).

Thanks again for all those participated and those who visit to read these little nuggets of wisdom.
